What it costs, and why your memory stays yours

Two plans. Free costs nothing. Paid is $8 a month or $79 a year. What you own is the same on both.

Free is for keeping a real memory at no cost. Paid is for keeping all of it, and for the things that run for you. Underneath both sits one rule that does not change: the memory is yours, and you can always read it, export it, and delete it.

Free holds up to 150 items, counting memories, skills, bundles, tasks, table rows and artifacts alike, which for many people on their own is enough. The paid tier lifts the count and adds the things that run for you: a mirror that keeps a copy in your own Google Drive, and a short address of your own for the pages you publish. What makes a memory trustworthy stays on both plans, because charging for it would be charging for the point: encryption, search, and full export and deletion, any time.

You upgrade from inside Muninn, under Account, then Usage. Payment goes through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which also handles tax and receipts. Cancel whenever you like and you keep Paid until the end of the period you paid for, and any payment can be refunded within 30 days (refund policy).

02 · WHAT YOU OWN
02

The part that does not depend on what you pay

For this product, what it costs and whether it can be trusted with a memory are the same question.

You can read all of it. Every memory is a plain object you can open, not a summary built in the dark. Nothing is filed somewhere you are not allowed to look.

You can take all of it. Full export and import, any time, on every tier including free. A memory you cannot leave with is not yours. It is one you are renting back from whoever holds the drawer.

You can delete all of it. Any memory, or your whole account and everything in it, immediately and on your own. Only the payment records we must keep for accounting, and a note that your handle is retired, stay behind. Owning your memory has to include the right to end it.

No one else can read it. Your account id is stamped into every search filter and every storage key. Reading another person's memory is not against the rules. It is something the system is built to be unable to do.

Not even the operator. Every memory is encrypted before it is stored, under a key that exists at rest only in wrapped form, unwrapped by the credential you already carry and never held in the clear. Whoever runs the servers still cannot open your memories from the dashboard. The strongest version of your data is yours is not a policy about what someone will not do. It is not being able to.

A memory you can read, correct, scope and delete is one you own.
